2008
In April 2008 I had another successful IBF training day. At this one held in the Payneham Youth Centre we met with friend Tony Fletcher who demonstrated Konsiki. As traditional at Karols dojo we all had a spar of course. 


Dante, Karol and myself also flew to WA to participate in the Martial Arts Group Camp. We made many new friends and met with some prominent martial artists such as Barry Bradshaw and Vincent Cordiero. This also gave me a chance to meet with WA IBF rep, Paul Marston and long time friend Sensei Phil Barker who had shifted to Perth several years before.

Later in the year Noel Keating of the ITF held an 8hour train-a-thon. It was great to catch up with Nino Pilla who I had met back in the 1990's at Graham Dunn's Jan De Jong seminar. He had just finished a role as Rob Schneider's stunt double in the movie "Big Stan"

In October I held another IBF Training day at the Burragah Recreation centre.
